Four dollar find

I did a little shopping at Deseret Industries (check out this thrift store on 82nd avenue, Portlanders). Zane found a lawn mower he couldn't do without. We've taken this baby on many a long walk around the neighborhood this week. Hopefully he still love to push a mower in about ten years. I'm glad a $4.00 toy could find a new life and make my boy so happy.

I LOVE the D.I.- what an AWESOME find, Holly! It has been my experience that the BEST toys are usually the odd ones, or the ones you pay much for, or the ones they "found"- NEVER the ones you "think" they'll really enjoy- at least they don't seem to work near as long! Thanks for the update- it was fun to see all the pictures. Nora is getting so big and SO much cuter! Gotta love all that black hair!

By the way . . . WAY cute background- where did you find it? It's very simple, yet cute and unique. I LOVE it!

I agree with Kristi about the toys kids like. The most popular toys we have are a lawn mower and wagon (for outside) and a vacuum (for inside). All were aquired used!

i ended up taking all of my kids swimming last night and they loved loved the pool. if you want to plan it we could go for the preschool swim on next friday. Zane would love it and the pool was even fine for Octavian. they keep the water warm.
